- How many types of questions can Q-GEN generate?
You may choose from six types of questions with the
results being shown according to group and type of
question respectively.
- Can Q-GEN be used as a benchmarking tool?
You may use Q-GEN as a bench marking tool by setting
a profile under the question type "question pairs"
and interpreting variances with the answers accordingly
(graphic evaluation possible).
- Can I generate multiple language surveys with Q-GEN?
You may choose from six languages and generate surveys
supporting up to 3 languages at one time. Certain
special characters are not supported yet, however.
- Which media file formats are supported by Q-GEN?
JPG, GIF, BMP, TIF, ICO, WAV, MID, MP3. Support
for video files is planned. However, it is to be noted that
the use of multimedia components increases filesize
unproportionately.
- Is Q-GEN a Computer Based Application (CBT) or
a Web Based Application (WBT)?
With Q-GEN, you can both generate computer based surveys
(which may be configured in such a way that the response
file is sent directly to a pre-determined e-mail address;
therefore, the results can be gathered online; where
this is not possible, the response file is copied
to the root drive of a pc) and web based surveys.
- Which restrictions apply to the freeware version
of Q-GEN?
The number of projects (surveys) as well as
the number project participants are limited.
- What are the system requirements for Q-GEN?
PC with Windows 95 / 98, NT 4,0, Windows
2000 - min. 10 MB of free harddisk space - min. 8 MB
of free memory - min. screen resolution 800 x 600 with
min. 256 colours - min. double-speed CD ROM or Internet
access - sound card optional
